Turnips

Turnips are very versatile & have a peppery, root veg flavour. They go very well pork or steak or as a side dish.

Step 1: Peel & slice to 0.5cm thickness.

(Whilst keeping a very inquisitive cat at bay).

Step 2: Sous Vide for 45mins at 90ºC & serve.

Just drizzle with some olive oil, salt & pepper and they are ready to go!

But for a few garnish ideas to elevate this humble side dish:

-crumbled roast hazelnuts

-garlic & parsley oil

-melted butter & sage

-garlic aioli
