Make it sustainable.

Whether you are new to the sous vide technique or a connoisseur you will have likely been confronted with the PLASTIC BAG PROBLEM. Cooking food individually in a vacuum-sealed plastic bag, which is thrown away after one use, is frankly insane.

Luckily for us there are products that solve this eco- dilemma. Silicon-based reusable bags have allowed this cooking technique a place in our eco-minded lifestyles. It also renders the expensive & cumbersome vacuum sealers redundant as we adopt the 'water immersion' technique in its place.

In this website all the recipes have been developed using reusable silicon bags or jars for when you are ready to make the switch to the new sustainable way.

This collection of recipes also reflects a moreflexitarian attitude to homecooking. I have included an abundance of vegan & vegetarian recipes along side the meat ones. It illustrates a more considered approach to cooking; instead of eating meat everyday it can become a special occasion food that we treat with the utmost respect.
